The BTTC was formed in 1970s with the primary aims of providing competitive table-tennis to local enthusiasts, and to encourage local youngsters to take up the game of table-tennis.  BTTC have entered multiple teams in various local leagues since the club’s inception, and have schooled many youngsters into competitive play in the Oxford & District TT League.  In recent years, BTTC-schooled youngsters have competed in International, British League, County Premier League and National League competitions.
